PLEASE OBSERVE “LEAVE NO TRACE” ETIQUETTE. Let’s enjoy the Mother Nature without DESTROYING it! 🙂
Located at the foot of Mount Banahaw, 1709.3ft above sea level is a freezing spring waterfalls named Bukal Falls, some of the locals call it Kilangin Falls or Maimpis Falls. The falls may have several names but one thing is for sure, you will be enchanted by its crystal clear and icy cold natural pool that is floored with crimson-coloured giant rocks with abundance of green moss.
From Manila, ride a bus bound to Santa Cruz, Laguna and tell the driver to drop you off at Pagsawitan or at the Jeepney Terminal Station bound to Majayjay. The travel time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours and the fare is 140php.

From Pagsawitan, you can either ride a jeep bound to Majayjay and get off at Barangay Bukal for a fare of 35 pesos or you can directly hire a tricycle and tell the driver you are headed to Barangay Bukal Hall (Registration Area). Make sure you are registered first as you will be needing a guide on your way to the falls. The travel time for the tricycle is approximately 1 hour and the fare is around 300-350 one way, depending on your haggling skills. It can accommodate up to 4-5persons so you just have to divide the amount among the number of members in your group. It is probably even better if you take a tricycle on your way back because the jeepneys are usually full of passengers in the afternoon. If you take the jeepney, it will only take you about 30-45 minutes to reach Brgy. Bukal. From there, just ride a tricycle going to the Barangay Hall for registration.
I personally recommend Sir Anthony, our tricycle driver at that time. He also arranges tours to other nearby falls. You can contact him thru this number, +639777880144, if you are interested
